10 minutes later snap shot of the DC fast charger progress screen showing wrongly the word “Rate” oppose to “SOC” or “progress” – the charge level at this point is in relation to the target SOC setting in the car, so if the charge timer is set to 80% then it calculates it to be 74% of 80% (charge timer setting).

15 minutes later this snap shot shows an 83% of SOC in relation to the 80% charge timer setting in the LEAF on-board charge timer.

Finally the LEAF side charger told the Nissan DC fast charger that the target 80% charging is reached, and signaled a “Charge complete” state to the DC fast charger, commencing the stop charging process, with the above feed back in the display it took a total of 19 minutes and 28s to charge to 80% from 44% using the Nissan new DC fast charger installed at Nissan Head Quarters in Franklin, TN
