For those EV owners that did not know about this Nissan has a DC-QUICK charger at the welcome center of the Smyrna plant. This is the first leg of my trip to Chattanooga today, using a mixture of DC-QUICK and BLINK L2 chargers, since they do “refuel” your EV equipt with a 6.6 KW charger, in a very reasonable amount of time. After starting out with only 90% charge at home and a little detour to run to different venue, briefly, I arrived at Smyrna Welcome Center with 72% charge left, to top off in the 15 allowed 15 minutes to 92%.

After taking in 1 hour of 6.6 kw BLINK juice at THE CONNECTION, and at Inn, i will need to take in about 13 kw here

So I decided take new 2013 LEAF out into the green, and set the solar sails for the Inn & Hotel at the Montgomery Bell state park.
It’s beautiful here and so much to do here, and two BLINK chargers nice and clean. They have wireless free, but it did not work today.
It is such an advantage having a Nissan LEAF with the 6.6 kw charger, it only took 1 1/2 hours to fill her back up for another 100 miles

This morning on my way to Gallatin Newton Nissan Dealership,  I ecountered 8 BLINK chargers waiting to be used. And across the street at address 273 Mr. GOODROOF had a white LEAF parked in front of it’s store. Since the Nissan Navigation had no record like always of these available chargers, I went ahead an plugged in for $1.00.
