So I decided take new 2013 LEAF out into the green, and set the solar sails for the Inn & Hotel at the Montgomery Bell state park.
It’s beautiful here and so much to do here, and two BLINK chargers nice and clean. They have wireless free, but it did not work today.
It is such an advantage having a Nissan LEAF with the 6.6 kw charger, it only took 1 1/2 hours to fill her back up for another 100 miles
Good to see you stretching the new LEAF’s legs. We did that run last year and stayed at a cottage for a few days.
But it is interesting to watch the Leaf battery application show the capacity growing on the new battery…
What sort of temperatures is the battery reaching this weekend? After 120 Miles of driving today my battery is at 96F. 7 of those degrees came from a 20 minute QC in Smyrna.
I’d be interested to see if the 2013 is able to keep itself a little cooler with the new lighter battery packaging.
Looking at it now they are all above 97.0 F, I don’t believe it matters much between QC and 6.6 kW in both cases you have to factor in the internal resistance
